On the new drama “The Thorn Birds,” Han Yoo Kyung (Kim Min Jung) is seducing movie producer Lee Young Jo (Joo Sang Wook). This is after she finds out that he is the son of a millionaire and the person that her friend Jung Eun (Han Hye Jin) likes.
Even though the two of them had to film the kiss scene when they were still awkward with each other but they handled it like professionals. Apart from one NG cut because of them laughing after seeing their reflections on the window, they were able to get the OK on the next shot. This was the scene that brought them closer.
At the press conference for “The Thorn Birds,” Joo Sang Wook said “After our kiss scene, the awkwardness disappeared.”
The staff said “The kiss scene is the first time that Kim Min Jung’s dark side surfaces and it is the start of the triangle romance in the drama. The scene will make the audiences’ hearts beat.”
The overall story of “The Thorn Birds” is about actress Seo Jung Eun who wants to become big through movies and movie director Han Yoo Kyung and how they untangle the thread that keeps them intertwined.
