In KBS’s new weekend drama “Ojakgyo Family” (written by Lee Jeong Sun, directed by Ki Min Soo, produced by Chorokbaem Media), which has already achieved twenty percent viewer ratings after airing only two episodes, Yoo Yi plays a beautiful but mettlesome woman named Paek Ja Eun and Joo Won plays a capable but harsh policeman named Hwang Tae Hee. They will have a hand-to-hand fight on the episode of the drama as Hwang Tae Hee will mistake Paek Ja Eun for a thief in a garage. As a policeman, Hwang Tae Hee will attack Paek Ja Eun by grabbing her in a headlock and throwing her into a pile of sawdust. But Paek Ja Eun will respond with an even more fierce attack. They will fight with no concessions in the drama. At the same time, they will present tension while giving physical touches that will naturally be happening unintentionally.

During the filming held at a garage located in Gyeonggido on August 20, Yoo Yi and Joo Won filmed the fight scene with realistic action acting by pushing and throwing each other. Production staff members had prepared to film the scene in advance to prevent the actors from injuring each other as the scene could be very dangerous, but two actors finished filming the difficult scene without any mistakes and they were highly praised by the staff members. In particular, Joo Won, who had to hold Yoo Yi in a headlock, reportedly took great care of Yoo Yi's condition during filming. Joo Won, who lifted Yoo Yi to throw her into a pile of sawdust, said, "She is much lighter than Iexpected," and his comment provided laughter and created a friendly atmosphere on the set that had been filled with great tension.
"Ojakgyo Family" has raised anticipation for its cast members consisting of veteran actors including Kim Ja Ok, Hwang Chang Sik, Paek Il Sub, Jeong Woong In, Jeon Mi Sun, Ryu Soo Young, and Choi Jeong Yoon, and it airs every Saturday and Sunday night at 7:55 pm on KBS 2TV.
