“The Duo” Will Han Ji Hye Pick Chun Jung Myung or Lee Sang Yoon

Actress Han Ji Hye revealed some feelings for the two of them.

On the 11th episode of “The Duo” that aired on the 14^th, she played hard to get on both Chundoong (Chun Jung Myung) and Gwidong (Lee Sang Yoon), making both of them want her more.

Chundoong and Gwidong are childhood friends and they both know that the other likes Dongnyuh (Han Ji Hye). However, Dongnyuh is a proud housekeeper and doesn’t show any weaknesses to Chundoong, while she shows a little bit of interest towards Gwidong and asks questions that try to figure out his feelings.

She wasn’t embarrassed at all to ask Gwidong, who came to the inn late, “Do you come here to see Chundoong or to see me?” Gwidong, who can’t really express his feelings well, replied, “I come to see both of you” to which she said “I really want to know who comes first.”

Gwidong finally said “would you like it if I said that you come first? Here, have a drink” and Dongnyuh finished the scene by saying “If you’re going to pour me a drink, pour me a lot.”

Han Ji Hye is showing two different characters; one which shows that she is prideful as the owner of the inn while also being honest and outgoing towards the person that she likes. She is playing the role of pure, yet outgoing character to show a soft charismatic side of the character.

The charismatic side comes when she is shown to reject requests to lower her price on goods and when asked for a refund, she just trashes everything.

She also raises the price of her goods this way. Shim Chung Ji tried to ask for refunds on her clothing material and once she tried to trash everything, he says sorry and tries to get it back by paying extra 50 silvers for each roll. Dongnyuh then raises the prices by saying “you won’t be able to buy it back unless you pay a gold extra per roll.”
