Ming Dao( traditional Chinese :明道; Pinyin : Míng Dào) is a Taiwanese model , actor and singer . His first project was with SETTV as the host ofThe King of Adventure. In 2004, he made his debut as an actor inHeaven's Wedding Gown(天國的嫁衣). A year later, he starred inThe Prince Who Turns into a Frog(王子變青蛙). This drama received a rating of 8.05, breaking the record previously held byMeteor Gardenand became the highest rated Taiwanese idol drama in history (this record was broken byFated To Love Youin 2008 .) This work, along with other highly rated shows such asMagicians of Love(愛情魔髮師), earned him the title "The Jewel of TV Ratings" (收视之宝). He has been a member of the boy band 183 Club since 2004.

Modeling
Ming Dao was first discovered in 1999 when he took part in the TV variety showGuess Guess Guesshosted by Jacky Wu on China Television . The show invited Zhao Wei , Ruby Lin and Fan Bing Bing .
Ming modeled for various advertisements and appeared in several music videos including Fei Xiang 's "She" and R&B 's "Love Bubble".
In 2000, he participated in a program calledSuper Sundayand worked as a spokesperson for Shiatzy Chen .

The King of Adventure (冒險王)
Ming Dao hostedThe King of Adventurein 2002, visiting India , Korea , Egypt , Germany , Namibia , New Zealand , Laos , Guam , Fiji , Alaska , Mexico , Oman , and Indonesia as an adventure tour guide.
In 2004, Ming Dao won the 40th Taiwan Golden Bell Award for best host.
Heaven's Wedding Gown
Ming Dao starred as bike-racing champion, Chen Hai Nuo. The drama also stars Cyndi Wang and Leon Jay Williams .
Acting career (2005 - present)
The Prince Who Turns into a Frogstars Ming Dao plays as Shan Jun Hao and Dang Ou. This drama is the only one in which all five members of 183 Club appeared.
In his next drama,The Magicians of Love, he co-starred with his band mates Sam Wang , Jacky Zhu , and Ehlo Huang from 183 Club . Sam Wang is also a member of 5566 .
In 2006, he starred inThe Legend of Star AppleandAngel Lover.
One of his most recent dramas isYing Ye 3 Jia 1in which he plays Ah Jiang. He plays opposite former co-star Chen Qiao En fromThe Prince Who Turns Into A Frog. Other cast members include Jason Hsu of 5566, who plays his friend Bulu (Wang Dao Ren). Also released in 2007 wasModern Youth(梦幻天堂).
He just finished filmingQuietly Falling in Love With Youin 2008. Currently, he is filmingAlways Smile!in Hunan, China. In December 2008, he and Chen Qiao En were set to start filmingStaying by You, Staying in the Sunshine/Taking of You, accompanied by the Lights. The drama was set to release in 2009.
