Infinite( Korean :인피니트) is a seven member South Korean pop boy group under Woollim Entertainment, which is also home to other talents such as Epik High and Nell . The group consists of 7 members: Sunggyu, Dongwoo, Woohyun, Hoya, Sungyeol, Myungsoo/L, and Sungjong. Infinite held their first debut showcase on the 9th of June 2010, performing their hit debut song,Come Back Again(다시돌아와) along with various songs from their first single, First Invasion . They performed their debut trackCome Back Againfor the first time on the 10th of June 2010 on M! Countdown . INFINITE's official fan club name is 'Inspirit'.

Infinite's L Is Not Confident with His Looks

On January 25, a press conference for the drama, "Shut Up Flower Boy Band" was held. A reporter asked Infinite's L what he thought about the title of the drama. L responded, "All the hyungs and nunas are so handsome and pretty that I don't think that I am a 'flower boy.'" His modest answer rounded up a lot of attention. L continued to say, "I will work harder on my acting so that I can reach the level of the other hyungs. Since my looks can't make it, I feel like I need to try harder." Many are heaving sighs because of L's remarks because not only does he have exceptionally good looks but he has great features and a handsome smile that melts the hearts of many female fans.Meanwhile, the first episode of "Shut Up Flower Boy Band" is to air on January 30. It is about a spunky and energetic band consisting of high school students. The drama will revolve around their stories of friendship, love, music and passion for a total of 16 episodes. L will be playing the role of Lee Hyun Soo, who is the chic guitarist of the band. Is Infinite's L just being modest or is he truly not confident about his looks?

Pre-debut

Before their official debut, Infinite revealed themselves with their own reality show shown on Mnet reality documentary program: "You’re My Oppa".INFINITE's 'face of the group', L, was featured in Epik High 'sRunMusic Video, along with members Sung Gyu, Woo Hyun and Sung Jong as the instrument players. Members Dongwoo and Hoya were background dancers for Epik High during the promotions of "Run".

Promotions in Japan

From their synchronized dance fromCome Back Again, their "Scorpion Dance" from their recent comeback song "Before the Dawn" has caught many attention from fans, viewers and netizens. With this publicity INFINITE has risen to fame once more. INFINITE debuted in Japan with their first single "To-Ra-Wa"on January 26, 2011. Immediately after its release, their "Evolution" album hit #3 on real-time charts for sales in Korea.The song topped to #1 for ringtones on the daily charts of the K-POP section of Japan’s top mobile website.

Comeback

After promoting their hit debut songCome Back Again(다시돌아와), they then started to promoteShe's Backfrom their first mini album,First Invasion.
On January 7, 2011 the boy group had their comeback with their songBefore the Dawn (BTD)from their second mini albumEvolution.Promotions for BTD (Before the Dawn) ended on the February 17, 2011 on Inkigayo where Infinite performed a remix version of the song.The MV teaser for their next title songNothing's Over, off their first single albumInspirit, was released on March 7, 2011.The full version was later released on March 16, 2011ahead of their comeback stage on M! Countdown on March 17, 2011 where they performed bothNothing's Overand part ofShot.
INFINITE then continued promotions with their follow-up trackCan U Smileon May 12 on Mnet’s "M! Countdown".

Their first albumOver The Topwas released on July 21, 2011together with the MV of their title trackBe Mine(내꺼하자).The MV teaser of their title track was first released on their official website at midnight of July 15followed by an album preview on the 20th.The group then had their comeback on July 23, 2011 on Music Core.
