A Legend Star

Lollipop's artist management contract with Channel V Taiwan ended at the end of 2009. Xiao Jie and Wang Zi are now signed under A Legend Star Entertainment Corp., a company founded by former Channel [V] Taiwan director, Andy Chang and popular variety show host Blackie ( Chen Chien-Chou ). Both Xiao Jie and Wang Zi have moved out of Lollipop's apartment, and are now sharing a condominium together along with Wang Zi's younger brother, Mao Di from the Taiwanese Mandopop boy group Choc7 .

On January 11, 2010, Wang Zi and Kid who recently are filming a movie together, had to wake up early in the morning at 5am for filming but they asked that day for a leave to participate in the opening ceremony of A Legend Star Entertainment Corp.. [1]

Wang Zi's 21st Birthday

One April 14, 2010, reporters flocked to A Little Corner Café, the café A Legend Star runs, to cover the news about WangZi's birthday. The man of the day himself drove up in a brand new Mercedes Benz , costing in one million TWD even, with his little brother Mao Di and friend Xiao Jie as passengers. Wang Zi confesses that he's been saving up since his debut to buy a wonderful working car for his mother stating:

"My parents work really hard. Whenever [Lollipop] has a signing event, they’ll drive from Taichong up to Taipei to watch us. Whenever my mom misses us, she’ll drive to Taipei to see us even when she has a leg injury. So I wanted to buy a better car for my parents. Then they’ll be safer."

Wang Zi, Xiao Jie, and Mao Di currently all live together with a friendship like bubblegum. After singing the birthday song the three of them started playing the kissing game. Wang Zi at first declined but ignoring his big brother’s decline, Mao Di forced a kiss on the birthday boy's cheek. Mao Di did think it was weird after kissing his brother, but thought that this would show their brotherly friendship to their parents who were watching. Seeing Mao Di like that, Xiao Jie placed a kiss on Wang Zi’s neck giving him a birthday hickey.

Personalized Stamps

Before their official release on April 8, 2010, “Asian Stars” have already accepted Wang Zi’s personal postage stamps ordering. When fans got notice about this they used many ways to get orders, all hoping to get their hands on these memorial postage stamps. Many of Wang Zi’s fans community have contacted the managing company and ordering has already reached more than one thousand copies.

Company and Wang Zi has decided to name it as “Sun shine god bird”, this set will include 12 different postage stamps. The name does not only symbolize Wang Zi’s dazzling uniqueness but also hoping he could fly higher in the future. The images will be pick from fans contributions.

The postage stamps will need 12 photos, they will be chosen from WangZi’s different time period. Also include some personal photos from Wang Zi and new photos. The fans will get to see a whole different Wang Zi.

Wang Zi’s Limited Edition icash Cards

414 limited edition icash cards for Wang Zi have been released to celebrate his 21st birthday. For those who do not know an icash card is simply a card that holds money inside where you can use to purchase stuff, just like a debit card .

All 414 icash cards sold out in less than 12 hours after their release.

Biography

Wang Zi is the youngest and most popular of the Taiwanese Mandopop boy group Lollipop . He is incredibly book smart, but relatively clueless about pop culture, and behaves mostly the way he does in the Taiwanese television drama Brown Sugar Macchiato (minus the pre-midnight racing) in which Lollipop members were told to just act as themselves as it was more of an introduction to the members of Lollipop and Hey Girl than an actual acting challenge. He holds a black belt in Taekwondo and is able to play the piano and violin skillfully. Currently, he is working on a film with Kid from Circus Action and intends to continue pursuing a career in acting in the future.
