“Scent of a Woman“ to live or to die?
SBS drama "Scent of a Woman" has a week to go and viewers are requesting to save cancer patientLee Yeon-jae (Kim Seon-ah). On the fourteenth episode of "Scent of a Woman" on the 4th, Lee Yeon-jae(Kim Seon-ah) and Kang Ji-wook (Lee Dong-wook) had a happy but sad romance. His father Chairman Kang (Lee Jeong-gil) found Lee Yeon-jae and told her to break up with Ji-wook. She knelt in front of him and said, "I can't let him go. I will make sure he is well even after I die". She tried convincing Ji-wook to go back to work as he had resigned and asked, "I want to be like a normal person. Can't you just be the way you were?" However, while in the hospital for treatment, she had to watch fellow roomate Hee-soo (Sin Ji-soo) die. Yeon-jae despaired at the sight of Hee-soo's portrait and her mother crying in front of it, knowing that would be her very soon. Yeon-jae got out of the hospital and ran to arms of Ji-wook, who was waiting for her and cried her eyes out. She then decided the let her mom know everything. The last scene of this day's episode was her telling her mother Soon-jeong, "Mom, I have cancer, I'm really sorry". Viewers fear the sadness that will come as Ji-wook and Yeon-jae's love get deeper and Soon-jeong is so happy at her daughters love for her. They are now requesting to not kill Yeon-jae. Viewers posted on the bulletin, "It won't be easy to accept the sadness and pain the people left be... more

Biography
Kim Suna was born in Daegu and then spent much of her school years in Chōfu , Tokyo (she speaks Japanese fluently). After first appearing in a music video by Kim Hyun-cheol, she started appearing often on TV but did not emerge as a star. She would first become well known as a film actress, debuting in the big-budget box office failureYesterdaybut going on to play a lead role as a student teacher in the unexpected hitWet Dreams.
Following this, Kim began to establish a niche for herself in comedies, often appearing as a straight-talking and not particularly demure comic heroine. She appeared in three films in 2003: a memorable cameo appearance in the period comedyOnce Upon a Time in a Battlefield, opposite Im Chang-jung in the strong hitThe Greatest Expectation, and together with Cha Tae-hyun in the little-watchedHappy Ero Christmas. In 2004 she took the lead role inS Diaryas a jilted woman who decides to get revenge on her ex-boyfriends.
The early part of 2005 saw her star in the action-comedyShe's on Duty, but she would follow this up by returning to the realm of TV dramas. It proved to be the best move of her career, asMy Name is Kim Sam Soonended up becoming the most-watched drama of 2005. The forthright, independent personality she displayed in her leading role as a woman who finds unexpected success in life as a baker endeared her to women across Korea, and later Asia, establishing her as an top star.
Kim then re-enrolled in college at Ball State University in the US as a piano major, presumably also brushing up on her English skills in order to further her career.
After starring in the 2008 comedyGirl Scout(her first project post-Sam Soon), Kim's TV dramaWhen It's At Nightwas poorly received. In 2009'sCity Hall, Kim played a low-ranking official whose life takes a turn when she wins a pageant and later becomes the mayor.City Hallwas a modest hit, with fans crediting its success to Kim's chemistry with her co-star Cha Seung-won .
Kim will next star in the 2011 seriesScent of a Woman, playing an unmarried 30-something minor clerk who receives word that she only has six more months to live, and decides to live the rest of her life happily, turning in her resignation and leaving for a vacation of luxury. Most of the episodes will be filmed in Australia .
She is also eyeing a sports-human drama opposite Kim Joo-hyuk as her next film.
