Personal life
He is a follower of the Daesunism religion, and he attended the Daejin University , instituted by the Daesunist religious group. He was engaged to former weatherwoman Ahn Haekyung, but they broke up in October 2009. He is known for his close friendship with rapper MC Mong .
Career
He first debuted in 2001 with a hip hop group named Jikiri, although the group was not very popular. In 2002, he first got his fame when he appeared on the popular sitcomNonstop 3. His fame grew when he began to imitate Kim Jong Kook on the popular variety showX-Man, on which he became a series regular until its end in early 2007. Since December 2005, He has became a member of Muhan Dojeon . Until February 2008, he was also a host of Manwon Happiness (also known as Happy Shares Company), a radio show on SBS radio called theTen Ten Club, and KBS's music show,Music Bank.
In February 2008, Haha began his national service. During his service, he collaborated with a new group Davichi in their song "Love and War".
In March 11, 2010, he got discharged from national service. After finishing his duty, he returned to Muhan Dojeon . Currently, he plans to join Yu Jae-seok 's talk showCome to Playand to start a new show with MC Mong on SBS called the Haha-Mong Show.
Haha is currently one of the hosts of the variety show Running Man , which is part of SBS'sGood Sundaylineup.
